Fun AR linkage to the GOT/HOTD series
I have thoroughly enjoyed using this application. The graphics are so much fun with respect to the augmented reality experience. I think many that are underrating it don’t have either the device or the understanding that this, indeed is a virtual pet. I don’t expect that this app should meet my needs beyond being a marketing tool for the Game of Thrones franchise. Yes, the dragon hatches and eats and does many things. But you have to actually research online and get the commands beyond the basic ones as well as touch the dragon and play with it after it grows. My dragon is 16 months old. He grew faster and the ancillary capability of DracARys kicked in when he was a juvenile. That’s the experience of additional dragons that are in the area being seen which is fun. This is meant to be a lighthearted experience. Most importantly you will suffer if you attempt to play this simulationusing an android operating system. It deserves five stars because it does what it says it’s gonna do and it does it well.
Needs some updates
I do like this app it’s cool I just wish they would update it so it didn’t glitch out. Sometimes I can even see my dragon
Dragon Lover🐲
So this game is pretty fun. I know it would take a while but I have something that would be awesome to add. You could make it so that you could create a world and you could look at it like it was you riding the dragon. But you would have to make it have amazing graphics because that should be what is expected. Again it would take a long time to do but it would be worth it. Also I understand if you don’t.
Lacking in features, plenty of bugs
I love the idea of the app but there’s a lot missing. Once the dragon was big enough (or outgrew) the cavern, I never saw it again despite using the mazis command. Real bummer.
DracARys app awesomeness
This app is a stone's throw from greatness and has all the potential in the world if developers will put even the tiniest improvements in it . The dragon graphics are truly gorgeous and the emerging animations are very entertaining. As a niantic platform run AR it's both an outside exploratory app or one that can be played inside. To me the achievements are secondary to the enjoyment and beauty of getting these guys out to fly. It's suffered serious glitches and one legit crash but was back up and most definitely improved with the last update FIX, after functionality experienced temporary challenges. AR object glitching is down, though still a problem, especially around leafless trees or water, but that's an AR thing. Functionality improvements and new animations would make this true greatness. I am dying to see my girl blink one day or throw a juvenile tantrum.
No internet connection bug
I don't know how or why this is happening but now the app is saying I'm not connected to the internet and can't run. I am very obviously connected. There have been several people on reddit getting the same error. Please fix this soon.
It literally gets pointless after 11 days
There comes a point where your dragon is too big to be inside so you have to be outside to interact with him but he only sleeps in his cave, dragon been the same size for like 9 months
Improvements and bug fixes.
