Idea
Can you add a long double speed function?
Solid player with great media detection. Bad for personal media
Just wish there was a better way to add folders but exclude them from the library. I feel like I have to play whack a mole stopping each copy (iOS, appletv, macOS) from scanning folders that I didn’t want scanned. It’s a bit of a headache coming back to random home videos messing up my library and clogging my watch queue. I still want to watch them in the player but I find I need to continually remove folders and re-add them when I want to watch them. Finally remove them again when I am done. It’s very cumbersome since otherwise I would have to remove it from each copy I use.
Worth the Money
my use case was Jellyfin. Yes I could use the web interface, but this app's interface is so muc nicer. I use it on both Mac & iOS and its been great, no complaints. Integrates with Jellyfin perfectly.
Music Videos
You should increase compatibility with music metadata
Just what I wanted!
I have Infuse on my Apple TV and iPhone, pointing to an old iMac that is acting as my server. So slick!
Good, but buggy
I do appreciate the Dolby Vision support, but man is it buggy. The app often crashes when resizing the window or doing rewind/fast forward while playing back a video.
Dolby Vision is great, but
Mac client experience is terrible: 1. Cannot slide the recent playing cards left and right, you have to click the buttons 2. The control panel in the video playback interface will cover the subtitles when showing 3. Switch to full screen? Start shaking inexplicably
