Best Text Adventure Game Yet!!
I’ve played several of these by other devs and none are this good. The storyline is well put together and the acting is not as corny as some. The scenes are very well done, not just one actor in a room but often 2 or more together in many different environments. It doesn’t feel like you’re watching a kid in his room filming a video, but like you’re actually watching a movie play out that you’re a part of! The games are not too easy, but also not too hard. You may get stuck on a few for a little while but never so long they feel impossible. There is therefore no need for a skip function like others have. The ads are quick and you can always mute them. And if ads bother you when you purchase the game it actually gets rid of them unlike the other games. Not to mention, it only charges you a small one time fee to own the game ad free forever rather than a monthly fee which has always felt unfair, especially when those games still have ads! I am SO excited for the next installment and will gladly pay for the ad free version upfront, not because they bother me but because I am happy to support these devs. GREAT WORK ON DUSKWOOD!!!! Love love love it and hope the future games get even creepier. From a forever fan.

I’m obsessed with this story. It was the first one that really got me hooked and I felt so attached to the characters. The story itself is amazing and super good at keeping you hooked. Can not wait for the next game they’re releasing!!!!

I’m a newbie to gameplay so maybe that’s part of the issue but so many mini games before being able to progress in the story line is annoying. I finished Elmwood Trails episodes 1 & 2 and loved it! This was a recommendation for a similar type game & I was at first excited to play, but I’m not sure I’ll keep at it due to the annoyances of mini games that stalls progress! I complete a series of mini games aka ‘candy crush’ ugh only to decrypt the ‘cloud’ evidence 20% and then have to solve a whole other set of mini games right after! It feels quite disappointing for ‘a win’!

I’ve literally been playing for 30 minutes and while I like the story so far, I am giving up because I don’t want to play basically candy crush in the middle of the story, when there is AN AD AFTER EVERY SINGLE MINI GAME. And there is no option to purchase anything to remove them.

I like the concept of the game and it’s very fun and interesting but after every conversation you have, you have to play a mini game and quite frankly, the mini games are a little difficult. And you can’t continue until you pass like 2, or 3 games. It’s actually very annoying and makes me not want to play the game at all. I think I’m gonna delete it because it’s not really keeping me glued in like I want it to. 1/5 stars

WOW. This was a rollercoaster of emotions, I love the style of the game and genuinely enjoyed it through and through. The storyline was so well put together and every detail was planned perfectly. I will admit, I am a little sad about the end (I need to know what happened to Jake!😭). I have been a fan for so long and finally being able to finish it was just so surreal. You will feel so connected to the characters and I love how interactive it is being that they have real social medias! I cannot express how absolutely ecstatic I am for Moonvale and can’t wait to see the new side story too!!!
