This is a pay to win game. Unless you are prepared to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars then this game is not for you. And be prepared for toxic comments. Verbal abuse and harassment. The policies are not enforced enough. A lot depends on your vvip level. I no longer recommend this game. Played for 7 years. No longer fun and can’t compete unless you spend a lot of money

An incredible game but now I have had to start all over from the beginning. I had finished the memory chapters a few weeks ago and obtained the last unique ship the Silent Mary and Salazar’s shade and now a few days ago, all the progress I had worked on was gone.

Server problems has locked me out of the game and unable to login. Support personnel are saying it is my problem. Just start over. I was a level S1 ready to level up to S2. I would not recommend this game.

This isn’t just a pay to win game, it’s worse it’s a pay to be able to play game. They make that abundantly clear after this last update, now every time you go into and out of your pirate town you get an add for outrageously priced “goods”. If these greedy turds had a modicum of decency they would look at this economy and adjust their prices accordingly but hey don’t. Gimme gimme gimme. Game play is confusing, poorly laid out, difficult to see even on an iPad, the controls are convoluted and involves to much menu mining. Concept for the game is great the execution is garbage making this a very poor user experience.
