Otherwise good
My experience
Though I downloaded the app sometime ago, because I heard that Spotify is no longer hosting its recording platform for podcasts, I decided to use Riverside for the first time today. It is somewhat a different experience, but I feel that once I figure out its quirks, I will be fine.
Drift/Audio-Video playback out of sync!!!
I have been using riverside for about 6 weeks. During the past 4 weeks there have been awful issues. Recordings are off sync and the tech team there has been dictating a script. I have tried all their suggestions and their last email suggested it is a problem with my hardware or the guest. Suggestion is 8 core or higher for both parties. Needless to say, going back to Zoom until I can find a virtual studio. Streamyard works just fine, thought Riverside supposed to be best out there. As a podcaster, highly disappointed bad now Anchor is gone and Riverside is in, terrible mistake. I would not recommend, this is running the quality of my podcast.
Extremely limited
For a service that costs 20 dollars a month, you would expect to be able to host a meeting, edit your episode, or at the very least, preview what you just recorded in the mobile app. As a traveling podcaster, this makes things extremely difficult for me.
Independent Artist safe haven
I started using this app and I can only say good things! I love you all thank you I will be live at 5 not a quarter 2 9
Thank you
I really appreciate the ease to use this platform and how helpful It's been to my show "Real Resilience Talk"! Much appreciated!
Great, but needs playback
I know they’re working on it, but that’s a pretty crucial part of a recording app…
- All new navigation! You can now see your recording's status in-app and quickly navigate between your productions and studios from our new side bar menu. - Previewing your recordings in the app is not available yet! But coming soon! - Multiple enhancements to the design, performance and stability of the app
