Basic and functional
This calendar is simple and easy to use and I love that it’s privacy focused as well. Importing my calendar from Outlook was easy enough and setting up. New appointments and events was also easy. One thing that this app lacks is widgets I would love to be able to see my calendar at a glance on my home screen through widget without having to open the app constantly. Aside from that, this is a super simple, functional and easy to use Calendar.

Love proton. Paying cust for many years. Why they refuse to leverage their auth already in use for mail with calendar is beyond me, makes the app unusable. Sorry guys.

At long last, Proton has implemented different colors for different events. This is now a top tier product IMHO. Excellent product that works beautifully across platforms. Great job Proton!!

Proton does a huge service to all of us by their commitment to privacy. What really holds this app back is the lack of iPad support and lack of iOS widget. On iPad, all you get is the mobile view that leaves most of your screen unused. These additions would bring it up to the level of the other Proton apps on iOS and earn it five stars from me!

I want to love to love this. I invested in a full year of Proton suite for business… VPN, Passwords, Mail, etc., and the Calendar is barely functional. It doesn’t seem to sync with anything; I can’t even change the name of my calendar and its color without an error on the program. It’s a calendar… if I can’t figure it out in 10 minutes… something is wrong. I’m a millennial, I know how to use calendar software… why is this so dysfunctional? Fantastical is still the king. Proton rules at secure and attractive email… but they have gloriously failed in the area of calendar. Sad to say it.

Been using Proton for years now, it’s simply the absolute best. As soon as Proton releases a large monthly Calendar widget I’ll delete my other calendar apps in an instant.
