Something’s Wrong!

Afterpay deserves 10 stars in my opinion. It’s one of the most convenient way to make purchases and pay over time. However, Afterpay Plus is no longer available and I cannot make anymore online or in-store purchases. I keep getting the same alert that says “Afterpay is currently not available at this store” I only deal with merchants that accept Afterpay and I’ve made ALL of my payments on time. I sent a message on Wednesday and they promised to reach out within 24 hours. Guess what? It’s Friday and I haven’t received any response. Please help!

Bad customer service

The fact the customer service doesn’t work is very disappointing cause is crazy they keep taking money out but none of the amounts have to do with my order and they don’t respond either already $50 dollar out my account for what

Don’t Like the Changes

I used to use Afterpay all the time but they no longer accept American Express and that’s the only credit card I use for online shopping. It’s a shame because it made shopping online so convenient, maybe too convenient. lol

The way you punish for missed payments is unethical

I had a $400 spending limit. Missed one payment. When I got the money, I paid off EVERYTHING. Dropped my limit to $50 AND I CAN’T EVEN USE IT! If this is not mended I will be filing a complaint with the BBB!

Horrible customer service

I recently had an issue with a payment that came out of my bank account but did not show as being applied to my Afterpay. I contacted the customer service and inquired as to where the money went and they could not answer that. All they said is we do not process refunds. I continued to try to find where the payment had gone and even sent them a screen shot of my bank statement showing the payment coming out. After going back and forth with them to try to get them to understand the issue they still could not answer where the money went. Even if the payment was charged by mistake they should have a record of where it was credited and be able to answer a simple question. I have used Afterpay multiple times and liked it very much until they took almost a hundred dollars from me and can’t tell me where it went. Absolutely ridiculous and the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Worst company to deal with! STAY AWAY

There may have been a glitch within your email that prevented it from being delivered. If you send an email to Afterpay we automatically send you a reply acknowledging your query and providing a timeframe for a response. As you have confirmed that you did not receive this email, it is very likely that it was not sucessfully sent. Aside from these circumstances, you account was overdue for two different payments 2 weeks apart, and returning an item or requesting an extension does not immediatley opt you out of your installment agreement. I apologize as I understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for. We consider your complaint resolved as we have addressed your concerns in accordance with our policies and procedures. If you have any other questions regarding any issue we have not yet addressed please let me know. Thank you, Samantha Afterpay Customer Resolution Team 17 May 2024, 03:50 AEST AGAIN. You never read the email regarding the issue when you had ample time to do so and now state that you “didn’t see the email.” I am not the only unfortunate customer that you’ve done this to. Your terms are invalid if you breach contract in which you did. BBB will have full note of this along with the conversations herein. I’m prepared to take this much further and will do so as well as within social media to shed more light. I am very well versed in SEO to ensure the information reaches the necessary amount of views. You disregarded my email stating the return issue and that the merchant had not marked as received which was an internal issue eBay fought on my behalf- they were communicating (something you all did not do at all). I also informed you of fraud on my payment account in which your app would NOT allow me to change my payment method. Your terms are erroneous since you’ve breached contract. I am prepared to file a false advertising claim at this time with the relative information herein. Best Regards,

Only 3 stars for me

Don’t get me wrong I do love this after pay and it is a life saver!!!!! BUT for Amazon after pay tried to make me pay more than what my actual order was. I know a lot of yall are going to be like well she doesn’t know how to use it or my balance is too low. No…. It’s not low and I do know how to use the app it’s only Amazon that does that. Say I want to use after pay for an order that’s $117 (which I currently am) after pay wants me to pay $132.66 …which doesn’t make sense. Idk weird app when it comes down to certain purchases. Amazing for Temu, shien and other small apps.
