The new layout makes it awkward to use. There was literally nothing wrong with the old one. The way the old layout was setup was convenient and intuitive to use. I’d highly recommend they go back to the old layout

The iPad apps seems to be getting neglected in terms of quality, weird gaps in the UX between the channel list and chat box, even in full screen mode. Would really like to see some improvements in this regard.
United StatesGreat app! Just a few things I would adjust
Discord is an amazing app and I use all the time to message my friends! I have Nitro Basic, and i really love my little custom emojis. There’s 2 things I would like to mention though that can be really frustrating for me pertaining to them. I don’t know if it was the last little bug fix discord had, but on the mobile app I noticed that when I click the emoji button and scroll down to my emoji list, the whole screen is filled with the emojis. This is a little hard to explain so bear with me 😭. The emojis menu pops up and fills the screen, which makes it so I can’t see the messages being sent anymore and I can only see the emojis. The real problem I found though is when you click on any emoji, it just pops back down and I can’t click multiple of the same one at once. I sometimes like to spam my friends with emojis and this has made that a lot harder to do. When the menu goes back down after clicking one emoji, it isn’t even in the same spot either. So if I scroll to click an emoji and start spamming, when it goes back I end up spam clicking a different emoji altogether lol. That was a lot of explaining sorry. Another thing I would like to mention is that you can’t organize your emojis. When I find an emoji I like I add it to favorites and it just goes onto the bottom of the list. It would be really nice if I could like, hit edit and re arrange them easily or something instead of un favoriting them all and then re favoriting them all in the order I want 😂. It would also be nice if (on mobile), you could make the keyboard go away when you swipe it down in the status section. The way it is now, the keyboard covers up the “Don’t clear” option and the only way i can make it go away is by clicking on the emoji button and then clicking out of it to drop down the keyboard. Other then those things, the only thing I would fix is making the emoji menu stay open until you click outside it on the website (again, for the purpose of easily spamming emojis 😅). I absolutely love using discord and all the things I’ve mentioned are very minor issues or bugs. This app is great, and probably my most used one! Thank you Discord! Lmk if I need to explain any of this more, I’m not the best at wording. EDIT: The status issue was fixed for me, i can easily click the DND option without putting down the keyboard. I have one more suggestion I forgot to put in here, but I think it would be really nice if discord streams could be a pop-out window outside the app. It would just be really convenient and nice. Again, just a suggestion tho I love this app so much
