Easy Interface, Ads Arent Obtrusive
This is one of the easiest apps to use for food tracking! No complicated UI, and the ‘scan’ feature is amazing. If youre not on Premium, the ads are not nearly as offensive or “in your face” as many apps out there can be. Really easy to use, and the Recipe & Meal maker features are fantastic. Highly recommended!
Best Free Food Tracker!
This is the BEST food tracker I’ve found that’s free. You don’t have to pay a membership to be able to adjust your macro goals, see your daily nutrient needs and your progress in achieving them, or to be able to scan a barcode to easily search for the correct item. They also allow you to import or create recipes to track what meals you make at home easily, so you’re not limited to what you’re able to properly log. I love this food tracker!

I love Cronometer. It tracks my calories without attaching bad/good statements to the foods I choose (looking at you, Lifesum. 😒) and diligently tracks my macros as well. It is so easy to use and has a truly massive database. I love the scientific approach to everything and how many factors are adjustable. Highly recommend!!

I’m now using this as my main food tracker and so far- love it! Even before the update with the categories, I enjoyed it. I moved to this app from Loseit! Because Loseit! made it where you need premium to scan food now. Before Loseit! I used MyFitnessPal, but they also need premium to scan food.. so PLEASE, do NOT make it where you need premium to scan food!! Take the categories away if you must but please keep the food scan free! This is what keeps this app on top for me. I also enjoy the ease of use and being able to see my macros. I’d recommend this app to anyone who is getting into tracking their food. It’s an amazing tool!

New Update is so good I felt like I had to leave a good review lol
They just added a feature where you can categorize your meals by time of day and it’s amazing! This app has helped me lose 95lbs in the last 8 months. They have tons of calorie info for all kinds of natural or processed foods, so you can even track when you cheat. It’s a great app and this update made it even better!
In this update, Diary Groups are now available to ALL users. Diary groups are labels that you can assign to your food diary entries by category like 'Breakfast', 'Lunch', or 'Snacks' to keep track of your eating habits and trends.
