Disappointing
The app is only half decent if you pay and even still, not great. All the people on here are gross or trans, all the rest (the desirable people) you have to pay a subscription to gain access. Ive tried this app a few times only to be met with the same thing, ugly uninteresting people or paid access to the rest. I suggest you all just learn how to actually meet people organically, it’s much better for your mentality and confidence around the opposite sex. Socialize, people! Just go out into the world and talk to someone you don’t know. Don’t waste time and money on these apps.

I just downloaded it yesterday, I haven’t matched with anyone nor have I had any conversations with anyone and when I got on the app the next morning, I seen that my account is banned. I think they’re just greedy and want money. The people of this app don’t care about helping people find a relationship, this is why online dating apps like this, bumble and tinder are terrible. I suggest just trying to find someone within your community because dating apps aren’t going to help you, especially if they block you after paying for the premium membership. Like I said this app isn’t about helping people find the love of his or her life, but it’s all about money. It’s wrong and immoral.

Hinge puts a lot of effort into painting themselves to be a righteous and human-centric company to help disguise the fact this dating service is predatory. I downloaded Bumble on a Thursday evening and got almost 2k matches within 24 hours. Here, I pay $40 for a boost hoping to be shown to some compatible people who aren’t using Bumble and I get shown a bunch of incompatible profiles, and all the incoming likes come in at off hours, like after midnight / prior to 6AM. Most of the support seems to be AI. You’re going to probably be forced to use this because Hinge / Match Group has a borderline monopoly on the dating service, just don’t give them any money because the app absolutely tracks who’s willing to pay, it’s like the scent of human blood in the water to a shark. DONT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!!!

I went in not expecting to find anything but then I found someone worthy of my love thanks to this app. Yes finding someone on a dating app is cringe but I’m thankful. Plus everyone on there was pretty much looking for something serious which is what is most important. Thank you developers!! <3
